Who I am
I love both the public-facing side of philosophy, as well as the technical world. I learned early on that my passion is combining the two and helping people from both realms understand one another. I believe a sustainable, thriving community relies on a policy maker's ability to advocate for the rights of their constituents. This includes having the right information, and having it be digestible and useful. Therefore, I dedicate myself to finding answers to relevant "big picture" questions surrounding technological adoption. I am a passionate, engaged team player with excellent research and analytic writing experience, and a strong background in survey design and report writing. I am both committed to my research, and to the people it will impact.
I also participate in several collaborative public philosophy projects, including co-hosting the upcoming podcast Philosophy Geeks with Dr. Sam Noll and Dr. Joe Stramondo. Our main topics involve ways in which technology stands to better (or worsen) aspects of life. Have a listen!
In my spare time, I love to take my dog for walks on the beach, cook for friends, and enjoy the odd baseball game.
