Applied Philosopher: n. Someone who works to engage with the world and make it better through reflection and precision.
I am a Philosopher who works at the intersection of AI, social issues, and trust dynamics. I have a myriad of interests, and am eager to share my passion for ethical deployment and justifiably trustworthy systems with the world.
I am a PhD Student at Michigan State University, focusing on AI and trust dynamics. However, because this is such a broad field, I have the fortune of being able to focus in multiple areas, including bioethics, sociorobotics, and agricultural ethics. My current research is surrounding the appropriate information transmission to partners involved in the use of autonomous apple pickers.
